U.S. Music Corp., a manufacturer and distributor of Washburn Guitars and Randall Amplifiers, has issued the following statement regarding the death of DAMAGEPLAN/ex-PANTERA guitarist Dimebag Darrell:

"On behalf of Washburn Guitars, Randall Amplifiers and U.S. Music Corp., we wish to express our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Dimebag Darrell Abbott. We are profoundly saddened at the news of his tragic passing. For more than a decade, Darrell was a member of the Washburn, Randall and U.S. Music Corp. family, he always proved to be a man of great character and exceptional talent. You could always count on Dime to be the life of the party. Darrell's friendship, humor and brilliant music will be sorely missed by all."

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx offered the following: "Dime, I will never forget all the times you made us laugh. I'm so happy we got to spend the day together in London recently… We should all live our lives as full as you have. I will miss you, as will all of us... This is a sad day."

Rich Ward (FOZZY, STUCK MOJO): "Darrell was as nice as they come. During the times that I spent with him, I wondered why he played in such a heavy band. Not that he didn't have the ability to school all of us that dared to share a stage with him, but because he seemed like such a gentle and kind man. He had a great sense of humor and was someone that everyone in the room gravitated toward. He never carried himself like the big rock star that he really was, instead he came across humble and appreciative. I consider it a privilege to have known him, as he was one of the 'real' guys in the business and as Zakk [Wylde] would say, 'one of the boys'!"

Почитай топ - в принципе, более полной информации ты вряд ли найдёшь.
Из-за того, что, по его словам, они выгнали Ансельмо и развалили Пантеру.

Ни кто не знает чем мотвилровал свой поступок убийца? Где можно почитать инфу?

Было две инфы на эту тему:
1. Перед тем, как выстрелить в ДД убийца кричал про тот виноват в расспаде группы Пантера, а тот я так понимаю был фанатом её.

Простите за кощунство, но почему не Ансельмо? Вина за разпад Пантеры на нём по большому. Так или иначе, Пантеры нет - есть две интересные группы Damageplan и Superjoint Ritual. Хотя, ИМХО, Damageplan заслуживает намного больше внимания как музыкальный коллектив.

2. Люди, которые общались з Натаном перед его "поступком" говорили, что он им показывал рукописные транскрипции текстов Пантеры, и уверял, что они "украли" у него их и что он им "сделает".

Ну тут нечего вообще говорить. Коментарии излишни.

Знаете, мои дорогие, я вам не верю. Хоть вы пытаетесь показать, что вам безразлично такое события, но скажу вам честно ... хоть и Дарелл мне человек абсолютно неизвестен, но если вы хотя бы некоторое время осознано проведёте с его творчеством, поиграете его музыку (насколько получится) и поймёте, что "это такое", я уверен ... вы, или тут не появитесь вообще или визит ваш будет носить совсем иной характер.

DIMEBAG DARRELL PUBLIC MEMORIAL SERVICE AND FOUNDATIONS ANNOUNCED

A public memorial service for guitarist Dimebag Darrell will take place December 14th, at 8 p.m. at the Arlington Convention Center in Arlington, Texas.

For those people wishing to make a donation in Dimebag's name, two special memorial funds have been established. The Dimebag Darrell Memorial Fund has been set up to cover bereavement and medical expenses for John "Kat" Brooks, Chris Paluska, and Jeffrey "Mayhem" Thompson.
