The Homebrew Electronics ParaDrive gives you a screaming overdrive as well as a boost in one pedal. The ParaDrive features sweet, rich overdrive with a sweet Tone control that only affects the treble. No see-saw loss of low end when you want a brighter tone. The Tone control is also very interactive with the Gain and Level controls so experiment away. Homebrew Electronics decided to equip the ParaDrive with a 3 way diode select switch for classic, open overdrive to tight compressed gain. The Fat Drive (FD) switch only works on the overdrive side and increases the low end and gain.
The ParaDrive isnt just an overdrive pedal. The boys at HBE decided that everyone also needs a boost pedal. The Boost can function independently of the Overdrive section and is perfect for soloing or hitting the front end of your tube amp like a sledge hammer. The combination of the two together is perfect for saturation and harmonics. The Homebrew Electronics ParaDrive is very dynamic and rich with great clarity and separation. It cleans up nice when it needs to and gets down and dirty when the situation calls for it.
