Официальное сообщение от агентства и группы ALESANA по поводу отмены европейского тура.
I apologise for the fact news on this has leaked online prior to us getting a formal message over to you all, but given the current tensions in Russia and the Ukraine the decision has been made to postpone the upcoming European run for Alesana.

The band have made the following statement regarding this decision...

"To all of our fans in Finland, Russia, Ukraine and Belarus:

We are sad but we must regretfully announce the postponement of our trip overseas to play for our fans in Finland, Russia, and Ukraine. Politically, things have been tense in some of those regions and in light of the tragedy of Flight MH17 the members of Alesana, along with our families and loved ones, have decided it is in our best interest to postpone the dates until travel proves to be less inhibitive of our safety. We love our fans and cannot wait to play for each and every one of you, but circumstances have forced us to consider our well-being and the peace of mind of our families. We hope to see you very soon!”

This was not a decision that was made lightly, but given the current situation we feel it’s a situation that cannot be avoided.

We are not looking at this as a total cancellation, we are looking at this as a postponement. We want to look at rescheduling these dates and honouring these shows in the Spring. We would like to look at a May timeframe to rearrange these dates and would be grateful if we can get available dates over ASAP.

We all apologise profusely for any inconvenience caused. If you have any questions, please do no hesitate to call. We look forward to visiting and these shows taking place next spring.
